US National receives Certificate of Authority to Underwrite Title Insurance within the State of Louisiana
New Orleans, LA (June 30, 2016) – Today, US National Title Insurance Company received its Certificate of Authority from the Commissioner of the Louisiana Department of Insurance. The company is now authorized to issue title policies throughout the state of Louisiana. US National specializes in providing title insurance on tax-adjudicated properties or on properties seized by local governments due to lien-related foreclosures or delinquent property taxes. Policies underwritten by US National insures investors of government-seized real property against filing errors, mistakes in examining records, fraud, forgery, undisclosed heirs and additional risks affecting title. For the one-time premium cost paid at the closing, title insurance is included with each sale of government-seized property, and coverage lasts as long as the purchasers or their heirs own the property.
